Minami is a queer Japanese American artist who focuses her practice around surface design, sgraffito, and the overlapping of different mediums. She is inspired by intersectionality, nature, music, and culture. Her style bounces between creating raised textured surfaces, carving into negative space, and painting detailed images on vessels.
